Come on in. You don't even have to take your shoes off!
Kelly's Korner is touring entry's today. It's going to be a short tour for me, but I'm sure I'll find a way to stretch it out.
This is pretty much it! Our entry and dining have brick floors and 100 year old ceiling tiles. The green stripes aren't as "glowy" in real life. It's more of an apple green.
we acquired our front door from our neighbors. They remodeled and got a new one, so this got passed on to us. I had always loved it and it looks way better than our old one. I did have to paint it black, but I paint everything. It doesn't really feel like mine until I paint it.

I could use a little something above my door, but I'm not sure what yet. Any ideas? I sure would hate to have a blank space anywhere.
This is what you see when you walk in my entry:
Since I don't have much of an entry, I'll take you down my hallway too.

We took the doors off the top two cabinets and this is where I have my family pictures displayed. Some of my most favorite pictures are on these shelves.

I have wedding pictures on the bottom of my parents, us, and my grand parents:

The bride and groom cake topper is from my parents' wedding cake.
This is Marcus as a bobble head, because I know you have always wondered what he would look like as a bobble head.

This is my cousin Kristen and me (on the right) in my dad's coat:
Thanks for stopping by!

I love everything you do to your home!!!!!
Love it! it is as beautiful as the rest of your home (that you've shown). As far as above the door--- you could do a sign (like the "family" one above your bookshelf) or one of those walk decal sayings. Love those. And if you have Hobby Lobby they have both (on sale this week, too)!! :)
What an appealing little space! I love the chandelier and brick floors and ceiling tiles.
Oh my goodness... I love everything about your home!! So stylish...and creative... and unique. Absolutely LOVE IT! :)

I LOVE the stripes and the black door!! Gorgeous!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your colors! I think we must be decorating twins. Seems like you mix a little fun and whim into your home while blending old with new. Some of my fav. decorating styles as well. We have a lot of the same colors in our home. You have a new follower :)
Ok. Let's play a little game. What is missing from the first picture?

I adore your home. It is so charming. You have given me many ideas and helped me think outside the box. I am sad this is the last Show us where you live Friday.
Love your foyer! The colors look great, the brick floor and columns and the wooden ceiling. It's all gorgeous!
I have a question...where do you get all of your adorable, fun lamps??? Your house is so charming!
Your house is a perfect mix of whimsy & chic. Love it!
Absolutely love, love, love your casa! I've been thinking about painting the inside part of my foyer door black . . . you've inspired me, and so now I think I'll do it after dinner!
