Your Assignments and the Big Reveal

This is the secret project I have been working on:

Yes, I did paint my refrigerator. And I painted the area in the frame with chalkboard paint, and now I don't know what to write in there.

That's your first assignment. What should I write? Keep it clean, people.

Here is my super sweet friend Anna helping me with the project. She's pretty artsy fartsy. (mainly fartsy)

Now your second assignment is to leave me a comment with your email address if you are a blogger that lives in the DFW area. Frugal Jen is planning a little get together next week for us all to get together and meet. We have to limit it to about 30 people, because of the location. So when I get your email address I will give it to Jen and she will send out an evite.

Your third assignment is the most important! I have my dreaded Dr.s appointment tomorrow at 9:45. Please say a prayer that I can be calm and not totally flip out with anxiety. I know I am a big girl, but I still hate to go. That's an understatement, really. So your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Probably even more by my doctor than by me!

Thanks girls! OK, now go do your homework!

That fridge is awesome!! It reminds me of Mary Engelbreit. "Life is like a chair of bowlies!"

I try and act all sophisticated and casual, but I end up spreading them even before he even asks. I don't think there really is an easy way through those, so I am sorry but good luck tom!!!

I love that fridge. I wish I had the guts to do things like that in my house. I would probably use it to write my grocery list or something boring like that!

your so creative and fun! I wish I had that much creativity and nerve! I did buy chalk board paint though but haven't done anything with it yet!

I love that fridge- it is very Mary Engelbreit-ish and she is FANTASTIC!!! I think you should just keep all colors of chalk by the fridge and write different things on it- love notes, grocery list, what's for dinner, holidays, bdays, etc. And good luck at the doctor (I hate to go also!).

Very cute! Let's see, you could put something like "Honey, clean up your mess! Put your dishes in the dishwasher!" That's what I'd put. :b

I didn't see your email listed, so I posted a note to you under your post from the other day (7/31) about weddings. Enjoyed reading your blog!

I'm in the DFW area and would love to meet up with some local girls sometime! I'm at http://theundomesticatedwife.blogspot.com and theundomesticatedwife@yahoo.com

love the fridge! you always inspire me to do new things with my house. my fridge would say something like "don't forget your cell phone, your keys, and your child" but yours should probably say something more fun.

I know how you feel about the dr. I didn't want to get pregnant becuase i dreaded going so much. Once i heard the heartbeat once i couldn't wait to go. I'll be praying but don't worry, it's always easier than you imagine. Go and get your favorite treat after so you have something to look forward to.

Wow - love the fridge! I'm just too afraid to use the color that you do; I wish I had your free sense of fun style. I live in the area too - so excited. I'm a lame blogger though - just for the grandparents and my home 'puter is currently in ICU...
