Knee Deep In It

I feel like I'm up Christmas Creek without a paddle.

In July I start dreaming about decorating for Christmas. I always, somehow, forget what a beating it is. It's much like child birth I'm sure. Not that decorating is quite as painful, but it's just that you only remember the fantastic outcome and not the bad stuff.

The dogs are wondering what in the heck is going on.

I believe I can get it done.

Most of this tree is actually decorated!

Anyway, it's got to be done by Saturday for the big Open House. Or maybe I'll rename it the "Christmas Decorating and House Cleaning Party". You guys don't mind helping, right?

Since I am on "semi" bed rest, I will have to lay low on the decorations this year. Luckily, I will be at my parents and my mom is already on her way of decorating her house.

I love the "Believe" sign.

ok - i am totally with you on the Christmas decorations - i've got all 473 boxes of decorations out and now feel a wee bit overwhelmed with getting them out. trust me, the part that makes this worse than childbirth is i keep doing the decorating every year - childbirth - twice - no mas.
please post pics when you are done. i love looking at pictures of your house!

I know how you feel! I started pulling out some of my decorations last weekend and now all I've got left is the tree! It's much less stressful when you do it in steps!

Is your brown dog a German Shorthair??

It's always such a huge ordeal to get all decorated! But it's always worth it in the end!
