Show And Tell

It's all going way too fast!

I love the Christmas season and it's whizzing by me!

We have been busy bees over here, so my blog has been a little neglected. I miss it and I miss you. Thanks for all your sweet comments about my Christmas trees! And it's so funny that most of you loved my kitchen tree the most, because I almost took that one apart and started over. Something about it was bugging me. Now I am so glad I didn't.

Now I want to share some things with you, my friends.

First, have you seen The Blind Side? Marcus and I did and we both LOVED it! I highly recommend it. It's even better, because it's a true story. It made me want to adopt several teenage boys.

Second: If you read any other DFW blogs or if you live in the DFW area, this is OLD news, BUT it snowed. Actual snow flakes last week! I just needed some proof. I will look at these pictures in August to give me some hope.

These pictures were taken at about 7:45 am and by 9:30 am there was zero evidence that snow had ever fallen. That's why I needed a picture!

Third: Last night we had a Thank You/goodbye party for our Sunday School teachers. They are moving on to another church where God has led them. We are happy for them, but sad for us.

This Sunday School class is our second family, we love them dearly. I promise I was praying too, I just wanted a picture of everyone talking to God.

Fourth: On a less Holy note, look at my new cute Santa necklace! Only $4.95 from Golightly's!

It says Merry Christmas on the other side.

Fifth: Another super cute thing...
My blogger friend, Dawn, made this for me! She gave it to me at my open house a couple of weeks ago. I love it!

Sixth: Today is my niece, Morgan's, 9th Birthday!

Every Texas girl needs a pair of cowboy boots!

And every 9 year old needs some HSM stuff!

Seventh, and last: I am going to have all my Christmas decorations on one blog post this Monday for the Nester Tour of Homes. You should join in the fun too!

I better get to some cleaning and picture taking!

Oh one more thing! Did you guys watch The Biggest Loser? It was pretty impressive. I loved how they had the old "befores" walking next to the new "afters". Pretty cool! And, of course, I loved the proposal. And just how great everyone looked. I am pretty sure it was the best BL finale ever.
OK, now I'm done.

I just found your blog. Please come live with me forever and ever. And ever. LOVE your style. It is everything I dream my house to be, but I don't have the eye to do myself.

That's a lot of info in one post! We have not seen the movie yet, but you are like the billionth person to recommend it! The snow the other day was so fun. My nephew, who is 4...thought he might be able to build a snowman...needless to say...sad times!!

I can't wait to see ALL your decorations. I'm missing a few boxes of mine...hopefully they will be found by next week!

I want to see that movie, just need to get a sitter and call it a date night with hubby.

The snow was so beautiful! The best part we didn't have the usual icy mess.

I look forward to seeing all your decorations up close.

I too loved the BL finale. I made a comment on my Facebook that BL has a much better track record of getting couples together than The Bachelor or Bachelorette. And they do not even try to do it. That show is so inspitring to me. I would love to be on it. All though I guess I should be happy that I am not big enough for them. I am closer to where they are about 8 or so weeks into it.
Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful home!

I plan to see that movie while on Christmas break!
