First let's start with Thanksgiving and then we'll move on to Black Friday.
Marcus hung the Christmas lights while I baked some pies. We are just like the Cleavers, aren't we? Except I wasn't wearing a dress and pearls, but my pj's instead. That's why there is no picture of the pie making.

Then we went to Marcus's parent's house. My parents came too, so it was perfect and we didn't have to eat 2 meals. Not that I wouldn't enjoy 2 Thanksgivings, it's just that it cuts into the after the meal nap.
And look at these super cute turkey cupcakes that my niece made!
This one kind of bit the dust:

The most interesting thing about this Thanksgiving is that one of Marcus's uncles showed up as an "Aunt" instead. FOR REAL! The family forgot to inform us of this change! Now if that's not good blog material, I don't know what is!
Now, the less eventful, Black Friday:
Yesterday I woke up, before the crack of dawn ,to be first in line for the great deals at...
Care Now
Care Now
& then
CVS Pharmacy!
CVS Pharmacy!
Don't tell me you missed the great deals there. First I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and then I got a fabulous prescription.
Then I laid on my couch all day and watched the "Say Yes to the Dress" marathon.
My family was planning on going to the parade of lights in down town Ft. Worth and I missed out! I start to look forward to the Christmas season in July and I'm already missing out on stuff! I am so thankful all my Christmas decorations are already up though.
I made the family meet at my house before they left for the parade. I was lonely and ready to socialize with real people. (Marcus was at work all day)
So now today is Saturday and I am still missing out on doing Christmassy things. We have free movie channels this weekend, so I guess I'm booked.
Hopefully I'll start to feel better tomorrow, because if they start singing Christmas songs at Church and I miss it...
well it won't be good.
