Busy Bees

I am glad to have my computer back, but I got a few things done in the meantime.

Look how clean my extra closets got! I should have taken before pictures and put them on my Keeping It Real post, but you might not have wanted to be friends with me anymore. They were a disaster!

I have some hand me down baby things in this closet. I did buy that cherry dress a few years ago for my baby. It is a 12 month size so it will be perfect for next summer. Unless of course it's a boy. Marcus would never let me put him in that!

Also, Marcus buffed and waxed our kitchen floors. I sat on the couch and watched him.

And took pictures of course. They look so pretty!

We did all this because we put our house on the market today!

I know, kinda sad, huh?

We are OK with it. We figured we should get something a little bit cheaper before the baby comes. I am not going to be working part time after he/she is born and Marcus won't be either. He will still have his full time fireman gig, but won't have his side business. He says he wants to be home with the baby when he can. So that is worth having a cheaper house, don't you think?

We still have several last minute things to do. We are having an open house this Saturday, so it for sure has to be ready by then. Will you pray we get a contract with in the week? I know that's ambitious, but I want to be moved before I start my third trimester.

If you want to live here, just let me know!

I think that's a great decision, you'll be happier spending every moment with your precious little one and I'm sure your next home will be just as cute! Good luck with the sale of your home.

Well, I think your house is amazing and I hope it sells quick for you guys. Do you know what area you are looking to move to? There are a couple of cute homes for sale in my neighborhood. I'd love for you to come be my neighbor! I am not too far away anyway.

Hope you are feeling well! Oh and btw, I used to have a tutu business before I got into photography. Email me when you are ready for one and I will send you one as a baby gift! Marcus surely won't his boy wearing a tutu, right? I can make it in blue if it's a boy. LOL!

Oh, Dina! So SAD, but SO worth it!!! Can't wait to see what you do with the next house! We need to round up the troops and get together soon! You're going to hate me because I'm kind of praying that you are having a boy! I found the cutest boy present the other day and bought it for you!!

I think you are smart to try to get in a cheaper house so y'all can be home more. We could live in a nicer and more expensive house if I went back to teaching, but staying at home with my son is so much more important to me. And just think...new house means new rooms to decorate! FUN!!!

yes..! I am Keri's neighbor... (o: Also I work at FBCC... and know Christy and Stephanie... I can see from your reader that perhaps they are your friends, too... 6 degrees of separation, right? Well... thanks for replying! Stay warm today... ~ kim

WOW! Well, I will pray it goes well and quick! I just love what you have done with this house, from the curb all the way to the back yard! It makes me sad, and I wish I could buy it...unfortunately we called to stay in Keller...For now! Love to you!

PS I was laughing about Kim M's post since I knew that ya'lls connection was people from FBCC, then I saw her next comment, and apparently y'all figured that out without my help! ha ha

You are so doing the right thing. We moved during my third trimester with my youngest and built a house, so it was very stressful. I will keep your house selling in my prayers!
And a husband that mops? :)

I love your house. We're moving to the Dallas area in June. We're hoping to get in the Grapevine,Colleyville,or Keller area. We're were there this past weekend to tour the area. Goodluck selling it.

Dina, we loved our trip to the DFW area and everyone we came across was so friendly. We can definately see ourselves calling it home. We stayed in Hurst at a Hampton Inn and liked the area. We think we're going to rent for a year to make sure we want to be in a particular area first before buying. We found one house in Colleyville we really liked and 2 in Grapevine off of Parr Road near Parr Park. Are you familiar with the area? Will you be staying in Hurst?

We put off building our dream house so I could go from working full-time to part-time after our baby was born 2 years ago. We still live in our less-than-a-thousand-foot starter home and it is SOOO worth it!
