A Great Weekend

Yesterday was our first trip of many to the snow cone stand this season. We always go to Bedford Snoball. It takes us about 15 or 20 minutes, but it's worth it. They are the BEST!
And we almost always get the strawberry shortcake snow cone with real home made whip cream!

So yesterday ended with a snow cone and today started with cinnamon rolls.

That makes for a great weekend!

It was such nice weather,we ate breakfast outside.

Poncho wanted a cinnamon roll too. I don't share my food these days.

Marcus can't sit down without getting a dog on his lap.

Or two...

Then later in the afternoon we had a picnic at the lake.

Marcus said I had to get a picture of the Bronco on the blog, because it was his pride and joy!?
I will try to not take offense to that.
This is the Bronco that we flew to Rhode Island to get last fall.
I think it's a little embarrassing, but he loves it.
The top came off today, and that was kind of fun.

I was also productive this weekend!
Remember this cross I got in Canton on Thursday?

I painted it. Well really Marcus spray painted most of it. I decoupaged the wrapping paper on it, then sanded it a little and added some stain. Then I needed my husband's assistance again to screw it together.

Now it's hanging on my front door!

It's ready to greet our Easter guests tomorrow!

I hope you all are having a great weekend

and have a Happy Easter!

~First I was drooling at your yummy's thinking wow I wish I could eat like that. Then I remembered when I did (well sometimes I still do), she must be preggo. I read your "about me". Congrats.
~Next I read your flea market trip yesterday and saw the cross I did not realize how big it was. Sooo Coool.

I hope you are having a blessed Easter.

Completely out of the subject, how do I start to decoupage something. Do you know any good on-line tutorial? I have a couple photo frames that I want to change, but I have no clue where to start ( I have two left hands when it comes to craft).

Dina, I remember really liking your blog when I found it at Christmastime (probably through Nester's home tour) and I had lost track of it and am so glad to have found it again (via Nester). I am going to have to try that Bedford snowcone place out! Thanks for the tip! Kelly
