I Shopped 'til I Dropped

Today I woke up a little stiff and sore all over, but it was worth it! We had a full day of shopping in Canton. The trade days are open every weekend before the first Monday of the month.

I only took pictures of one vendor. But it was the best vendor.

Not all of Canton looks like this, most doesn't actually.

This is Girls Gone Junkin'. You can visit their web site here.

They have everything displayed so beautifully.

These are dresser drawers hung on the wall as shelves!

I REALLY loved this pink crown!

Thanks Cathy and Deidra for letting us take pictures!

As for my purchases...

They were mostly for Katie. Some oil cloth bibs, a pillow case dress, some head bands to put bows on, A "I rock my hairbow" onesie with bow of course, and her very own pink crown! She sure to be a princess!

I have been going to Canton for years and years and have always loved all the baby stuff there. It was fun to actually buy some for my baby! It's still sinking in.

And I also bought some leopard wrapping paper and these raw wood cross pieces. You buy each piece separate and stack them how you want. Now I have to figure out how I want to paint them!

I am pretty sure this will be my last trip to Canton while pregnant. It was a little challenging towards the end. I was definitely waddling. And then seeing me try to get in the truck at the end of the day was comical!

Today is kind of a gloomy weather day, which is appropriate for Good Friday. Today is the day we remember that Jesus paid for all our sins. He was crucified and died on the cross. Thankfully that's not the end of the story!

I was hoping I'd see you yesterday, but I didn't. Where is the Girl's Gone Junkin' booth? Is it in the very last arbor going toward I20 on Hwy 19? I didn't make it that far yesterday. I collect white pitchers and serving dishes and would have loved seeing that table!
So do you have a cute diaper bag yet? I saw so many cute ones yesterday. I actually stood there looking at one and wondered if I could get away with carrying it as a purse. Diaper bags were nowhere near that cute when I carried one 5 years ago.

I ended up going back to Canton on Saturday with family. I found the Gone Junkin booth and the large white pitcher on that table is now sitting in my dining room. I even told the girls I saw it on your blog and thanked them for letting you take pictures. They said they loved Golightly's!

I can't wait to see what you do with a nursery. I think my little girl's nursery was the most favorite room I've ever decorated.
