I'm Ready

When Marcus and I had a contract on our house, we went looking for a new one.
New to us, not new new.
We prefer old houses.
We found one we wanted and put an offer on it, but in the meantime our contract fell through. So now we are just waiting for the buyer of this house to show up and bless us with his or her presence, so we can buy the other house.
Of course I have the other house all decorated in my head. And I have the paint colors all picked out:
So now we are just waiting.....
And naturally the house needs more than just paint. We have to totally remodel it. That's just what we do to every house we buy. We have never done it expecting a baby though. That's what makes this so exciting...I mean irritating!

So now that American Idol and Dancing with the Stars is over, I have more time on my hands. Time that can be used painting, decorating, packing, and setting up a nursery!
And to make things more exciting; I went to the Dr. on Monday and I have a big baby. They estimate her being 4lbs 2 oz already. So I don't picture her waiting until July 22nd to make her debut.

I keep having to recite Jeremiah 29:11 to myself;
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I am so thankful God has a plan. I really, really wish I knew what it was!

I can't imagine being in that kind of limbo so close to having your sweet baby, but you are right. God has a plan for you and it is a great plan! We had an offer for my hubby to start a new job in another state two months after our baby boy will be here and we turned it down. It would have been a fabulous opportunity, but we just couldn't imagine doing all of that with a newborn and I doubt our family would let us leave the county line with their babies! haha

Wishing you the very best! That's actually my favorite verse and I say it to myself quite a bit. His plans are always better than ours.
