Some Updates

First, these roses have nothing to do with any updates, but they are pretty and they were FREE from my backyard.

I love nature.

So now a pregnancy update:

*I am almost 31 weeks.

*I have only gained 4 pounds. And I am not sure how, because I eat like a man these days.

*I don't sleep great and usually wake up between 4 am and 6 am to eat my first breakfast.

*I still feel good and it has been a very easy pregnancy. I am so thankful for that!

*Katie moves around all the time. I am starting to see my stomach move a lot too.

*I think she is about 3 pounds and last time we were at the Dr. she was breach. I have my next appointment on Monday. My Dr. does a sonogram every visit and I love it!

*I am not craving anything in particular, but more salty than sweet. Which is opposite for me. And I ALWAYS want to go out to eat. And if we drive by a restaurant or fast food place I dream out loud what I want to eat from there. And we live by one million food places!

*People keep asking if I am ready to have her yet and the answer is NO! I am excited about meeting her, but nothing is ready yet. And I am not sure how she is going to get out of me. I am still hoping the stork will bring her in the night!

And now to another update: Our house!

We had another contract on our house and it fell through on Thursday. That is the second time. We know God has a plan, but we aren't sure what it is right now. We still feel like we should move, but the baby time bomb is ticking loud and fast.

So lots of you have asked to see the nursery, but I don't have one set up yet! I am waiting to see where we are going to live. Normally, the nursery would have been done the day after I found out I was having a girl. So I am having to practice my patience.

My bedding came in and I returned the bed skirt, because it was totally different than the picture. So we are going to have to make it ourselves. I guess I should get on that.

Everything else is cute, I just wish the skirt looked like the picture, because I LOVE it!

If we stay in this house, this room will be the nursery. At least it already has a pink ceiling!

We have looked at several houses.
I think about you guys when we are looking, because I will have endless blog material if we move. Everything we looked at will have to be totally remodeled. Some houses have salmon carpet and there has been lots of wall paper and paneling and super ugly lights. It will have to be the world's fastest remodel.

Anyway, we can't wait to see what God has in store for our family!

One of the things we would miss the most is our yard and pool:

I think the dogs will too, but we haven't broken the news to them yet. They also don't know that a tiny sweet baby is about to be living with us too. They are about to be the low men on the totum pole.

Poor things.

I lover her bedding...it's so sweet! I understand the anxiety over moving...I moved once when I was pregnant and once with a newborn...that equals...misery:) Praying for a buyer and for a great house for you to buy...just so I can see you redo it!! Your style is unreal...love it!

I love the bedding! I can't wait to see the nursery that you create...I'm sure it will super adorable! I would totally buy your house from you...but only if you moved next door so we could be neighbors!! Ha. Seriously though...I'll be praying for a successful (and speedy) sale!!

I will pray the house situation will resolve itself soon. What a blessing little Katie will be! I look forward to seeing that little girl. I have a feeling she will be the best dressed baby around town :)

i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO in love with the bedding, i would love that for our newest addition...but I'm gonna try to contain myself and just "makeover" what we already have. (i have lots of ideas swimming in my head) my girls will have a shared "princess suite"..., i love the idea of a pink ceiling......hmmm, I DO have a can of pink paint. Anyway, hope you guys come to some conclusions on your house..i know how frustrating that is.
you look great girl!!! have a great rest of the week.
