BBQ and BABY

First, thanks for all the paint color, counter, and front loader washer advice! Some of you even sent pictures and links! I appreciate that so much! It's so nice to have a big community of friends that are willing to share ideas!

Last weekend was busy and fun!

Marcus entered a BBQ contest in our area:

This is his smoker he made and mounted on a trailer.

And here he is pretending to do something. I needed an action shot.

It was at least 100 degrees on Saturday. So Marcus borrowed a generator and a window AC unit to help cool his pregnant wife. We looked a little WT, but smart!

Marcus had lots of visitors through out the day.

These are some of the cutest:

This is Drew, Courtney's son.

Marcus is giving him a fake ride on the scooter.

I promise it was fake. Please don't take our baby from us!

And then Anna and her boys came to see us:

They got to go on a real ride!

Here's some delicious meat:

And chicken:

Marcus got first place in the contest!

Not really, but he should have!

The same day, as he was sweating his buns off, I got to go to another baby shower!

And not just any baby shower. This one was with my 9th grade girls I have in Sunday School!

Here are a few of them:
It's going to be nice knowing all these babysitters!

They got me some of the cutest things!

Now Katie has a pair of her very own pink crocs!

Speaking of Katie. We had our 34 week appointment today and she is still breach. The Dr. wants me to go to the chiropractor and get my hips adjusted, because she says that will flip her. Have any of you done that?

We also scheduled a c-section for 6 weeks from today just in case she doesn't turn. That is just one day before my due date, so she might decided to come on her own before then. She is already a butterball!

I went to a chiropractor for the first time when I was pregnant. I was in extreme pain from the pressure put on my pelvic area. Anyway, my chiropractor told me that she had done adjustments to help turn babies before. She is a fabulous chiropractor who has a lot of experience with treating pregnant women, but her practice is in Richardson, so that might be a little far for you.

Wow, 34 weeeks! It's flown by! My little one's were breech until 35 weeks then turned on their own. I am interrested to hear about how that goes let me know. Glad your Dr. is suggesting an alternate way to flip the baby.

You have a progressive doctor! I don't have experience with Chiropractic care during pregnancy, but have used them before with great results. I found this link for you with info on the "Webster Technique" that is used for preggos who are presenting breach. http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancyhealth/chiropracticcare.html
I'll be praying for Katie Belle to flip over so you don't have to get a c-section!
