I have sold jewelry on my blog in the past, but it's been a while. I also sell jewelry at Golightly's. It's my way to earn a little bit of income with out really having to go to work. I am so blessed that I get to stay home and be a wife and mom. That's what suits us best. I know others LOVE to get out of the house and go to work. I have never liked being somewhere at 8:00 am. It's unnatural for me to be out of my PJ's at that time!

So right now I am still trying to decorate Katie's nursery. I can't get it how I want it. It's frustrating since decorating is what I do. I have dreamed of decorating a nursery for years and I just can't get hers done. It's going to take some moolah. So I need to earn some more...

Do you want some jewelry?

If you see something you want, leave a comment with the item letter and description, and your email. I will send you a pay pal email. If you don't have a pay pal account, you can send a check. Whatever you are most comfortable with is fine. There is no tax and shipping will be $2.

Happy Shopping!

A. SOLD. Thanks Shara! Red cross necklace with black beads $32

It's not pictured, but the clasp on the necklace is adjustable, so you can make it longer or shorter.

B. Turquoise and brown cross necklace $32

This one also has an adjustable clasp.

C. Pearl necklace with orange and pink cross $38

This necklace is super long. When I put it on it goes down to my shins, but I'm a shorty!

It's meant to be wrapped around a few times, so you can wear it long or short depending on how many times you wrap it.

The cross looks black in the picture, but it's a very dark chocolate brown. I love it with the turquoise and cream!

And thanks everyone for entering. I will do it again!

My 2 year blogiversary was last week! I started this blog just to document our lives. I am not a scrapbooker or journaler, so this worked for me. It has also turned out to be a place to "meet" some great people. You all are such encouragers and really super sweet.

So if you are a follower of this blog, leave a comment and enter to win this necklace!

I love these necklaces. A lady in Dallas makes them and they are all so unique. I am on my way to the World Trade Center in Dallas to pick up some more to sell at Golightly's. I am going to get a few extra things to sell on the blog as well since you all don't live in the area.

Anyway, thanks for being apart of my blog life. You make it fun!

Follow my blog, Leave a comment; it could be about nothing,or maybe you can give me advice on how to get a baby to sleep through the night, I could also use some zit cream advice unfortunately, or just say hi!

I will pick a winner Tuesday night!

Good luck!

Cutie Katie

Baby smiles are the best. It makes me want to give her a pony or buy her Disney World or something. Anyway this age has been fun. If I could get more than 3 hours sleep at a time I might think about having another one at some point. Right now the idea can actually bring me to tears.

Katie has been fortunate to get some cute outfits from some cute friends of mine.

This is from Debbie. She just moved here from Florida. We met from our blogs first and now we know each other in real life and we go to church together!

I hardly have anything with Katie's monogram on it. So it was fun to get a "K" outfit and bow!

And anyone that knows me knows I love cherries! This outfit is from Stephanie. We also go to church together.

Katie wore this today. Today was also her first time to go to the church nursery. I think she liked it. I hope they liked her!

Thanks friends for keeping my baby looking adorable!

And these guys are pretty cute too:

Marcus and I had lunch with Morgan and Ryan at school on Friday. (the pic of me and Morgan didn't turn out so cute)

My mom teaches at their school too, so it was a 3 for one kind of deal. We may not be allowed back, because there was an unfortunate happy meal toy incident. Marcus "accidentally" flung a strawberry shortcake doll off a skateboard and it hit another parent. Whoops.

At least we had a good time!

I hope you guys had a good weekend.

Check back tomorrow, because I am doing a blogiversary giveaway!

Where We Don't Sleep Enough

Kelly's Korner is hosting "Show Us Where You Live" Fridays. I love looking at other people's houses. It's like going to the best open houses with out having to get out of my PJ's.

Today is Master Bedrooms.

I shared my bedroom with you last month, but I have changed it up a little. And I didn't want to miss out on a good blog party, so you have to look at it again!

I took out the yellow dresser and put it in Katie's room.

And I added this window shelf. It's just an old lead glass window hung up with brackets.

I am also showing the "before" pics again. It makes me feel good to see the progress!

I covered up the real window with a decorative one. It has leopard wrapping paper on the back of it for privacy. I just stapled it on there.

The pack n play was in the picture last time. To be honest I just moved it out for this picture. I am not sure I am ready to put Katie ALL THE WAY in another room at night. She's just a teensie baby after all. I don't want her to feel abandoned!

I do like the way the room looks with out it though! I'll let you know what happens!

Wedding picture:

We will be celebrating 11 years of marriage next month!

And this is the view I see most:

And our closets. We just moved about 2 months ago to downsize our mortgage. It downsized our bedroom and closet size too.

It has been totally worth it though!

Now I get to shop at Hobby Lobby whenever I want and buy stuff like these cute knobs for the closet doors!

Join the tour! I want to see where you live too!

Have a great weekend!

It's Fall!

It officially became fall last night at 10:00. Yippee Skippy.
And I hear rumors of a cold front coming through over the weekend.
To make it smell like fall in your home put a pot of water on the stove. Just sprinkle in some cinnamon and cloves. You can add either apples or oranges too if you want.

Now don't go and take a nap while this is simmering. I learned that the hard way yesterday. My house smelled like burn instead of cinnamon. It's not the mood I wanted to set.

And if your husband is a fireman, you get in big trouble!

A safer way to smell like fall is to use this yummy hand soap from Bath and Body Works.

It's called Creamy Pumpkin. You can also get it in a candle!

Here's what my little pumpkin is doing right now while I am blogging:

The batteries on the swing are dying. We are going to pick some up today, otherwise we are all in trouble!
Happy Fall Y'all!

Fun Times

It's already Homecoming time around here. Too bad it's 95 degrees.

My oldest niece, Jennifer, is a Raiderette. So Katie and I had to go watch her in the Homecoming parade tonight!

Katie also needed a blue tutu for the occasion! Here she is with her Aunt Pam, Marcus's sister.

My nephew Jeddy working for some candy.

And this weekend my good friend Tori came to visit all the way from Arkansas!

She needed to meet Katie in person. We always have the best time and talk 90 to nothing the entire time we are together.

And I took this picture at Market Street specifically for YOU guys.

Don't you love the GIANT pumpkins! It was 50 bucks. If I had 50 bucks burning a hole in my pocket it would come home with me.
I guarantee Marcus wouldn't appreciate the beauty of this pumpkin like I do.
At least I have a picture. That was free!
