Stripes and A Sickie

I painted brown stripes in my entry way!
I have been wanting to do it for a while to break up some of the pink.

It reminds me of Baskin Robbins. Yum. Now I want some peanut butter and chocolate ice cream!

This is what it looked like before. I liked the crosses, but I thought it was a little bit too busy. "Busy" is usually my style!

And Katie must have caught wind that I was going to make her cry it out in the night. So she is playing sick right now. Poor thing. She is so stuffy and has a little fever.
(by the way, thanks to those of you that left encouraging comments about trying to sleep through the night! I appreciate it!)

Thankfully Marcus is home today so they can cuddle on his recliner. And of course I will get up with her in the night whenever she needs me!

Maybe I can get another project done while they are resting!
Or maybe I will do some resting too!

Love the wall! PS Katie is so precious (is it possible that she gets even cuter with every post?) As for the sleeping through the night thing, is she eating cereal yet? It helps if they eat some at their last feeding, keeps their little tummy full. :)

Love the stripes, you can't ever go wrong with pink and brown. Sweet Katie is growing so fast, she's beautiful. Hope she is better soon.

I am so sorry Katie is sick! Chloe is too. When they get better we should meet at Baskin Robbins and enjoy some Chocolate Peanut Butter, my fave!!!!

Poor Katie! Something is really going around. Both of my girls have been sick. Poor Olivia has had croup. That is NO fun at all. Hope she feels better soon.

Love te stripes! We recently painted stripes in our bedroom. (mine are horizontal). I really need to do a post on our updated bedroom. Maybe when I finally get the Christmas tree out of here.
