Today started early and has been pretty busy. Marcus got off work this morning and had some of the firemen over for breakfast. They were all headed to the Stock Show and Rodeo in Fort Worth. I just had to get a picture of the guys in a pink dining room!

My mother in law was kind enough to take Katie for a little while so I could go grocery shopping. Fun, I know! It is getting icy and cold here tonight, so I wanted to get it all done. Plus if we are stuck in the house I want a FULL pantry. Not because I think we'll starve to death, but we find eating pretty entertaining in this house!

My father in law took a couple of pictures of Katie in Marcus's old high chair!

This carrot reminds me of something I saw on Dr. Oz today. I only saw about 3 minutes of the show. They were going to talk about how to break your addiction to sugar and fat. Well, I am fully aware that I am totally addicted to sugar. I just told Marcus that I need an intervention. Except I don't really want one.
Anywhoo, Dr. Oz told me he could break my addiction in 3 EASY steps. I just heard step one and turned off the tv. First step: cut out sugar and carbs and eat cruciferous vegetables instead...cauliflower, broccoli, I think some turnips were thrown in there. What? I am addicted to sugar! Do you think that cauliflower has ever touched these lips? It hasn't and it probably won't!

Being pregnant was the only thing that has broken my sugar addiction. I am not sure I am ready to go down that path again. So for now I will just try to cut back on my sugar. I might eat a piece of fruit tomorrow or something! You never know!
OK, forget Dr. Oz, let's talk about some really important Reality TV.
The Bachelor:
Michelle scares me a little, I think Emily could be the prettiest person in the world, I had to fast forward through the part when Shawntel was talking about dead people. That creeps me out and I couldn't have given her a rose. And I have to say, I was a little jealous of her shopping spree. That would have been fun.
I don't see any super big connections yet. Can't wait to see what happens. I have heard rumors who he picks though.
Who do you think it is?

Stay Warm!

I love that high chair!

I'm about to start reading Lysa Terkeurst's book Made to Crave. I don't want to break my addiction to sugar either but . . .

You guys stay warm too! Kelly

What a cute high chair! I am pretty much addicted to sugar, too. So, when you find the magical way to get over that (besides eating veggies) let me know! Ha!

I am rooting for Emily.
And I DID go get some converssation hearts since I saw them look so pretty in that canister. So I have mine in a vase on the counter as well. That is until I eat them all!

Katie is cute...always!!

michelle is a little freaky freak. I do not like her at all. I sure hope Emily breaks out of her shell and opens up more. I DO like Shawntel though and am jealous of the shopping spree. I hate that I got so sucked into this season of this silly show though. lol

If you figure out how to break the sugar addiction let me know. I think mine is worst after having Caroline. I'm drinking a diet coke and just ate a mini twix bar.

Stay warm! It's a mess out there.

Thank you for being honest about your sugar cravings. You know the first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. HAhaha! Dr. Oz is nuts....until calciferous veggies start tasting like sugar, I'm not gonna use them as replacements, sorry!

Hope the storm is not too bad for you all.

I love the pic of the firemen in the pink dining room! I think we need a picture tour of your new house!

Blah blah blah on the sugar thing ... Speaking of which, Emily is so sweet she makes me have a toothache. I may be going against the grain here, but I don't like her. Not that I like Michelle either .. freak! Shawntel was actually my pick from the first night (and I picked Roberto for Allie the first night too.)

Who did you hear he picks?

I kindof hope he stands them all up again. That would be good t.v.
