Show and Tell

I just got back from The Love and Logic class I am taking with my sister on Wednesday nights.
 I am loving it.
This is only the third week, but I am already less frazzled when it comes to discipline.  I am way more civilized these days!  I wish I was eloquent enough to describe their principles, but I'm not.  The website is www.loveandlogic.com
if you want to check it out.

You also might want to check out this yummy candle from Bath and Body works:
Cider Lane 14.5 oz. 3-Wick Candle - Slatkin & Co. - Bath & Body Works
This is how B&B described the scent:
As heartwarming as our annual trip to the local apple orchard each year, our delicious fall blend fuses mulled cider and warm caramel with a hint of sweet cinnamon.

I want my house to smell like fall even when it doesn't feel like it outside.

And I love this one too!
Farmstand Apple 14.5 oz. 3-Wick Candle - Slatkin & Co. - Bath & Body Works
 *******************************************************************
And we have gone a little over a week without this toot invading our house!
Yippee!
Katie has a deep love for Caillou!  BUT she kept saying,
"I. DON'T. WANT.TO!"
Picture it in a sassy 2 year old voice!
Well, one day we heard Caillou in the background in that exact sassy voice saying that exact sassy thing!

Katie picked up his inflection and brattiness!  We don't need that kind of influence.  So we told her he's in time out right now for not talking nice.  She has totally accepted that! Also their home decor always bugged me, but that's not really relevant, is it?

We did watch Peppa Pig today and I liked it, because they laugh at just about everything, even when something doesn't go their way.   And they usually fall down, because they are laughing so hard!
So cute.  It makes Katie giggle when she sees them giggling.
It's a crying shame that pigs have better manners than a 4 year old boy!

I think I finally found a wholesale vendor from which I can order some bubble necklaces!
And at a good price too.
This is just a sample pic I got from the internet.  I think I will be able to get a lot more colors!

My plan is to sell them at Golightly's and maybe some on my blog too if anyone is interested.
What I want to know from you is what colors should I get and what price do you think is fair?
They are $150 on the J.Crew website and that is 100% crazy!  I have never had $150 to spend on a necklace! If you have, then I am so happy for you!
My taste changes too quickly to spend that much anyway.

And last, but not least, my friend Staci is doing an Erin Condren giveaway on her blog!
I really want to win, but I guess you can enter too if you want!

BUT before you go there, please answer my bubble necklace questions!
Priorities people!
Thanks!

A trip to B&BW for candles at the beginning of Autumn is always a must for me! I ended up with spiced cider, creamy pumpkin, and nutmeg and something this time.
Selling bubble necklaces on your blog sounds like a fabulous idea to me! I've been considering buying one and just haven't made it happen... From my small bit of research it seems prices are typically $17 - $40 depending on size and the cheaper ones are usually coming directly from china and shipping takes several weeks... I noticed some of the higher priced ones usually had deals (buy 2, get 1 free). My nearest TJ Maxx had one for $30 which i thought was fair but it was of course in my least favorite color (ORANGE).

Thanks for the shout out! As for the necklace, I'd love the turquoise, as well orange or even black. Love it. I've seen some knock offs on some Facebook flash sales for anywhere from $18-$30 or so. Guess it depends on the quality. You can sign me up to buy one (or four) from you!

Green!!! And I am just a small town girl from Missouri and no longer have any fashion sense, so I will shamefully admit that I have never seen them before! :) I better get in the ballgame, huh?

Oh, and thank you for you super sweet e-mail!! It warmed my heart that we are close enough that you sent me a personal e-mail when you couldn't get your comment to post. Brynne is already doing better with her new diet. I am so pleased. Thanks for your tips. I started her on Lactaid this afternoon before she ate her beloved mac and cheese.

Talk to you soon!

Oh, I've just started shopping around for bubble necklaces - LOVE them!! I adore the turqouise, red, and orange (just to name a few!) I will definitely be interested in buying if you decide to sell on the blog...as far as cost, I have seen them range from $20-$150. Can't wait to see what you get! :)

We had the same problem 8 years ago when my oldest was watching Caillou and she started saying the exact.same.thing! We haven't allowed Caillou back in our house since! There are a ton of great kids shows out there - ones that show cooperation, kindness and are just plain fun!

Love the turquoise necklace.

I couldn't agree more about Caillou. And what's up with his hair. He is 4 and why is he bald.

Turqouise, pink, black, green are good colors! I don't pay more than $15 for a necklace unless it's something that I know will last a long time!

I LOVE the Turquoise necklace and if you do decide to sell them on your blog... I am DEFINITELY going to be buying from you. I would say anywhere between $15-$30 I guess. Also, Calliou had to be put in time out at house too... he never seemed to get out... Have a great weekend,Dina!

I meant to mention that I went on a candle shopping spree the other day and those two were in my bag! I also got the Autumn Day candle ...it smells so good in my two sons rooms. It is kind of a manly good smell. I also got Spice, Salted Caramel, Cranberry Woods,Cranberry Woods, and Cinnamon Sugared Donut. I LOVE them all but Salted Caramel is my favorite!

OMG!!! Our kids would be the best of friends! That Calliou is one whiny rascal! I'm glad Peppa Pig is his new love in his life! I don't understand why Caillou always wears shorts and his parents have long sleeves and pants on?

Have a good weekend!

We quit watching Caillou for the exact same reason! Can't stand his whineyness.
