First of all, I want to say that I am LOVING having all these clothes that my sister in law got for Katie! It has been the biggest blessing!
This is one of those cute outfits!
Yesterday, Charis and Drew came over to play!
They are my friend, Courtney's, twinkies!
Katie loves them!
I told Courtney that they have to be Katie's surrogate siblings if she doesn't have any!
Can you tell how Katie feels about sharing her lawn mower?
They act like siblings already!
Katie was trying to help Charis put her socks on:
I know they will be forever friends.
I had breakfast today with my friend, Kara this morning!
We just celebrated our 30th anniversary!
We met in 2nd grade when I moved to Texas and became fast friends!
I wish it was a better pic, but I wanted to document the occasion. We went to Mimi's! That's always our meeting place!
Kara has twin boys! 3 of my closest friends have twins. It was always my DREAM to have twins...until I had one! Then I realized that I am NOT cut out for twins! It takes a tough mama to have 2 at the same time!
Today was such a beautiful day, so Marcus, Katie and I went to the park this afternoon:
Swinging with Daddy:
Now we are watching the election results!
It's not near as much fun as swinging!
I'm thankful for a country where we can voice our opinions and cast a ballot!
If your opinions are different then mine, I don't really mind a bit!
I put my trust in God alone, not our president or our country.
BUT I will be respectful of our president, the government, and others.
Or at least I will TRY to.
13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 16 Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 17 Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.
1 Peter: 13-17
