A Christmas Tour of a Christmassy Home!

 Welcome!
Pretend like I am greeting you with some fudge and hot chocolate!

This is the view when you walk in the door:
 My dining room.
My "Jesus Is Risen" sign is more for Easter, but Christmas is all about Jesus, so I though it would be OK, and it matches!
You can see how I decorated my trees here.

This hutch holds my great grandmother's china.
It's what inspired the pink walls.

This is our sitting room/office:
 Our Santa tree:

The Kitchen:

I decorated with Coke and Dr.Pepper cans:
I found Santa on the little Coke cans!
I was happy to see him instead of the unChristmassy Polar bears!

I love having Christmas lights on top of my cabinets.

The Living room:

 Hey Santa!
This was the first year I decorated with traditional red and green, and I loved it!

 This is our guest room:

This was the perfect room for all the fireman ornaments.
 Katie's room:
She's 2, hence the 2 in her tree. And the fact that we had to keep it small and simple and unbreakable!
She loves her Little People Nativity!

This is the master bedroom.
I put my tree in a basket to help hide the cords.  And I didn't have a cute tree skirt!

I love putting garland on my bedposts.
In our early married years, I used to wrap Christmas lights around the posts, but I think we have matured since then. Well, maybe just my decorating style has, not me personally!
Thanks for coming over!

Merry Christmas!

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

I love it all Dina, so cute! Do you have a favorite tree?

And I am going to come to your house and steel your angel wings that are hanging on your wall. Oh, and the striped and polka dot curtains. Love those!

your house is my favorite, even when it's not Christmas, but especially when it's decorated! You have a gift with decorating. Again, i am wishing you lived closer to me so i could hire you to come shopping with me and help me with my house. ( also wishing i had the funds to hire you ;) )
