Hope, Peace, and Joy... FOR REAL

Today we saw Santa come down in a helicopter at my niece and nephew's school.  Then tonight we paid $20 to drive through a FABULOUS Christmas display.
And I will share more about those things another time.  I am all about doing fun holiday things, but I don't want to ever forget what we are celebrating.  I don't want to share more about our "red and green, Santa Christmas" more than I do about Jesus's birth.

I know it makes some people uncomfortable and it's not politically correct. And it's narrow minded.
The truth is narrow, people.

I am in love with this song.
And I wanted to share it.  It's about the day Jesus was born. And about hope...

Here are the lyrics:

Wish that I was there,
On that silent night,
When your tiny heart started beating for mine,

I wish I could've seen,
The star in David's town,
When you turned a stable into Holy ground.
I sing along, the angels song.

Noel, Noel, Jesus is alive.
Emanuel, hope is here tonight.
So go, and tell, the world that death has died.
'Cause Jesus is alive. Yea Jesus is alive.

The God who made us all,
With these two little hands,
Is bringing us his kingdom quiet as a lamb.
Oh such Amazing Grace!

A divine conspiracy.
This Savior in a manger changes everything.
That's why we sing.

Sin you have no sting.
Hell you have no power. (Jesus is alive)
Curse you are no more.
This is your final hour. (Jesus is alive)
Because the son of God
Has not left us alone. (Jesus is alive)
He'll live and die and rise again, and then he'll bring us home. (Jesus is alive)
The old will pass away
And we will become new. (Jesus is alive)
This baby boy is making all sad things untrue.

I just had to take a moment to stand up for Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas, when it seems to becoming less and less acceptable and popular. I'm not in the running for Prom Queen, so it's OK if I'm not with the "in" crowd!

And you need to know that Jesus loves you!  With a real and unfailing love.  Not the conditional, if you do this and that and this, kind of love. It's a big red puffy heart, could kiss your face off, knows all your dirty secrets and still loves you, was brutally beaten, tortured, and crucified for YOU, kind of love.

Merry Christmas!

Even though north face coupon code will not seem to get from the way of actions on the mountain, some may possibly obtain it annoying they can't remove it anyway. As long as that doesn't bother you, this kind of jacket is easy to advocate. If you are thinking of buying a winter weather links with serious capabilities, the North Face Women's Prism Ice Parka is your solution. For laid-back winter months explorers, this hat might even be too warm and technical.
