A Juxtaposition

Did you watch the Super Bowl?
We did!  It was such a good game!
I was rooting for the Ravens since I know Michael Oher.  Well, I don't really "know" him, but I saw The Blind Side, so I was rooting for him.

Katie enjoyed the half time show.
If she hears anything with a beat, she has to boogie.
She was using her matchbox car as a microphone.

Then she totally switched gears on us and wanted to share The Gospel!
She's saying, "Jesus came to Earth as a baby. He lived a perfect life. He died on the cross for our sins. He was buried in a tomb and in 3 days he rose again. That's the Gospel!"

It melted my heart!  I wish I was the kind of mom that was satisfied with that, but it bothered me that she was in PJs that had pasta sauce on them. So I put her in a dress real quick and slapped a bow on her head.  And put her in better lighting.  I know, I'm a stage mom and completely ridiculous!

OK, Katie, do it again!

This is what I got:
 I totally deserved that!

Dancing to Beyonce and then preaching the Gospel.  That's a well rounded 2 year old!
I am so glad she's mine!

Dina, that is to funny. We were watching the game tonight and Ireland started doing the same thing. She'd talk about Jesus being a baby and the gospel. Must have been the lesson at church today in all the classes. Too cute. I totally had to video Ireland saying it but I left her in her pjs. Haha. :)

I love it! I would have done the very same thing and put my little one in a dress,too-and gotten the same result!
We are Ravens fans in our house so it was exciting last night to watch the game! Now I am dreading grumpy kids waking up in a few minutes.

You should send Katie's video to the Super Bowl planners. Maybe they'll make her the entertainment next year.
