Chalk Paint

Have you used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint yet?  I am thinking of getting some soon.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
I need to stick with my New Year's Resolution of adding more turquoise to my house and I love her colors.

I also love that they can be mixed to produce several different shades.

I like Provence or maybe Duck Egg Blue.

I really love Antibes green too.
I am sure it's way fancier pronounced right, compared to how I pronounce it in my head.

Anyway, I am dreaming up all the things I can paint, while Katie is doing the spring cleaning for me!

She got me up TWICE in the middle of the night last night, so she totally owes me!
I made her 3 meals yesterday and she didn't eat any of them!  So she woke up hungry. (duh!) At 3:30 I gave her some milk. And then at 5:00 I caved and gave her some goldfish. I will let a 2 1/2 year old be the boss of me, if it means getting some sleep!
Mother of the year!

Tomorrow I might teach her how to do laundry, because I'm still a little cranky.

My little guy does the same thing. I even try to have things that I "think" are his favorites but what do I know....I'm not a toddler boy!!

My kitchen cabinets are provence. I have used Annie Sloan and regular ol Sherwin Williams....and the SW is much better.

I purchased some AS paint a couple weeks ago at an Antique mall in Plano (at 75 and Plano Parkway behind Olive Garden). This was my 1st furniture painting experience, so my opinion may not be the best. I liked that I didn't have to sand the furniture first, but it is taking me several coats to get the coverage I need (the can said it should only take one coat). Since I have to sneak outside to work on it a few minutes after my girls go to bed, this simple project is taking me much longer than I had planned.

I have an AS Paris Grey dresser that I love. I'm excited to see your AS projects!
