I keep thinking about the people that were at the Boston marathon yesterday. I can't imagine how scared they must have been. It's kind of starting to feel like you aren't safe anywhere? School, movies, public venues. None of us are promised tomorrow. I am thankful for the promise of Heaven and I am praying for those affected.
I am thankful for my little family of 3.
Marcus had a final yesterday. (he's in paramedic school right now.) He got to leave right after the test, so he was home by 10:00!
We decided to take the train to Dallas.
We have never done it before and didn't really have a plan.
Katie enjoyed the ride!
She was hoping for a play ground at our destination, but no luck.
She had fun exploring.
And we had lunch at El Fenix.
I hope Katie always looks at me this way!
It was a fun day!
This afternoon we broke out the bathing suit and sprinkler!
It was toasty outside, but the water was a little bit chilly!
And look at all my lilies that are popping up! It's a fun surprise every year. They only last about 2 weeks, but I love them!
I knew it was time to come in when I saw goose bumps and blue lips!
After we came inside, Katie told me that we need to go shopping and get me a bathing suit! She's right. I need one, but I think the sprinkler will go in the BACK yard when I'm sporting my bathing suit!

I got a super cute leopard print one piece at modcloth.com... you told me about those amazing jeans from lane Bryant so I thought I would pass on that bathing suite place... They are super cute and great quality!!
Does that sprinkler work pretty well? I saw it at Toys R Us the other day, but didn't know if it was worth it.
Your home is adorbs!
And swimsuits and sprinklers? Jealous.

Sounds like a fun day! :)
We took the train once to Fort Worth and then rode the bus to the zoo. so fun! Kelly
