A Birthday, 20 Years, and Camping!

 We had a fun weekend!

We celebrated my dad's birthday on Friday night!

Marcus had his 20th high school reunion on Saturday night.
It was at the Omni Hotel in Forth Worth and they had a wonderful buffet.
A delicious buffet + a pregnant girl =happiness!
I totally enjoyed myself!

Of course I didn't get any pictures of Marcus and his friends!
Whoops!
This is Lisa, Me and Kylie.

Lisa graduated with Marcus. She reads my blog and I really wanted to come up with an elaborate, fake story about Lisa for good blog material, but I won't. She's sweet and fun!

And Kylie is married to one of Marcus's friends from high school. We used to go on vacations with them before kids cramped our style! It was a fun night. Marcus was there too! Someone had to take the picture!

On Sunday night, Marcus took Katie camping in his brother's backyard!
They were just about 5 miles away, which I was happy about.
They left me at home, which I was also a little happy about. And a little sad too. It was my first time to sleep in the house by myself since Katie was born!

I did productive things like watch DCC Making the Team. And then a chick flick. I enjoyed my alone time!
Katie had lots of fun with her cousin, Jeddy!
He and his dad slept outside too.
And Marcus's parents stopped by for some hot dogs.
That's his mom on the bottom of the pile!

Katie's "brothers" went too.
Blue and Cash

All ready for bed.

This was her goodnight call to her mommy.
Marcus sent me a picture of Katie with a big cheesy smile at 10:45, Saying "I'm not sure this is going to work out!" She kept getting out of bed, looking at the dogs and then did a dance! Marcus turns into a pumpkin at 9:00, so he doesn't see 10:45 very often.
Of course, that's when I'm just getting productive.

She finally fell asleep. Then she and Jeddy were up before the sun, jumping on the trampoline.
Marcus also sent me a text at 6:30 AM with this info! Guess who doesn't want to see 6:30 am?! ME!
They had a great time together. I'm sure there will be lots of camping memories to come for them. And I would totally cramp their style.
(and I really appreciate Marcus being the photographer, so this fun time could be documented!)

And it finally cooled off here!
It is beautiful outside.
Scarf weather! Light scarf weather!
I have lots of scarves up at Golightlys. I think I will put some on my blog too...hopefully tomorrow.

I also have these super cute oil cloth zipper pouches and bags too!
I love the fun colors.
I gave this one to my friend, Paige, for her birthday. I love when things can be monogrammed.
As soon as I can get pictures of everything, I will put them up for sale on my blog, if anyone is interested.

I hope you all had a fun weekend too. And I realize it's Tuesday. I'm usually a day late and a dollar short! That's how I roll!

Oh My Gosh soo cute! We used to"camp" in our back yard. It would take our daughter hours to load up the tent and fall asleep. We would let her sllep for a half hour and wake her up and say "It's starting to rain and our tent was not water proof" and put her in her bed and we were happy. Haha
