Christmas Tour

I have a thing for Christmas.
I love it!
I love the lights, decorations, the excitement, the goodwill towards men, the cookies and fudge, everything
It's just such a fun time.

Pink Christmas trees and plastic Santas don't scream "Unto us a Savior has been born..." but that's what we are celebrating here! Jesus's birth.
That's where our JOY comes from, and I hope our home reflects that!
Pretend like I'm handing you a cup of hot chocolate and some sugar cookies.
Welcome to our home...

My sister in law gave me my vintage light up Santa this year and I love him!

Our Christmas cards are clothes pinned to the little tree.
I have yet to send mine, or order mine, or even take the picture for mine!

Our kitchen is apple green, not glow in the dark green. Promise.
The kitchen tree is my favorite:

Our living room:
And another Santa from my sis in law. He sings and dances!

I didn't have any floor space in here for a tree, so I put one on top of this cabinet.

Our bedroom:

I found the letters at Hobby Lobby. I just painted them and glued them together.

Our tree has my veil as the topper and our wedding picture stuck in there.

Our 4 year old, Katie Belle's room:

The baby Jesus is missing from her Nativity, because she stuck him in her purse to go to church on Sunday.
Makes sense. Jesus and lip gloss.

Katie appreciated her Christmas decorations so much!
That made it even more fun to do!

And here's Jesse's room. He's our 8 month old.
I am a little bit nervous to see what next year brings with a 20 month old boy + Christmas trees!

His daddy is a fire fighter, so we have lots of fireman ornaments!

11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
Luke 2:11-14

This makes me ridiculously happy. I love your home tour! Makes me want to finally hang things on my walls. And take you shopping with me! I'll supply the fountain cokes.
How many trees total? We are at 7 and I'm bargaining for one more.

7 for me too! I'm up for cokes and shopping!

I just love your Christmas decor. I found your blog several years ago through Kelly's Christmas Tour round-up! So cool! I have a 20 month old this Christmas and he does great! He just says "pretty" and touches the bottom ornaments very gently. So maybe Jesse will be the same way! :)

Looks great as always Dina! Sadly, I didn't get a single tree up this year. :( before I knew it, it was mid-December.

Where did you find the mirrors over your nightstands?

Dina said...

I got my mirrors at Hobby Lobby a few years ago. They were a dark brown metal and I spray painted them recently. I can't believe you didn't put up your 11 trees this year! I am sure you will be glad on December 26th when you don't have tons to clean up!
