So, I don't know if you've heard...but it's been a little bit soggy around here!
D/FW beat the record for the wettest May in the history of ever. AND we beat it by over 3 inches. We have been in a drought for 5 years, so it's hard to complain. We have just had to deal with inconveniences, but some people have lost their homes or even lives. (that sounded kind of dramatic, but true)
These pictures are of a baseball field.
Now ducks are swimming on it!
This is what Marcus would call a "turd floater". I know it's not ladylike, but I have lived with him for almost 16 years, so he's rubbed off on me. And it's actually factual this time!
So the past couple of days have been sunny and we were ready to bust out of the house!
This was our first swimming day of the year.
Too cold for Jesse:
This little puddle jumper thing was too big by the way. We took it off. It only works if they are 30lbs, I found out later. We LOVED having Katie's the past few years!
So he sat in Katie's old lady bug.
The big girl tried it too.
She swam great for her first time since September!
She said it was "swimtastic"!
The other day when it was only misting outside we went to Six Flags!
Katie is a dare devil.
She and Marcus are on the last car of that big roller coaster.
Jesse and I just watched safely on the ground!
It was fun and we just got a little damp.
So glad the sun is supposed to be shining all week.
And now I just realized, I didn't get ready one bit for shorts or bathing suit weather!
My body was made more for big sweatshirts and leggings!
