Happy Fall!

It cooled off a little just in time for the first day of fall!

Yesterday Marcus and Katie fell asleep watching a movie. So Jesse and I stole Marcus's truck to go pick up some pumpkins, hay bales and corn stalks. Up until recently his truck was a standard, so I couldn't drive it. But he got a new one and I just remembered I could! Except I am not great in big vehicles. I tend to hit things.

Jesse was a little nervous at first, but then he said he was proud of me!

Inside got falled up too!

I still have my storage box Marcus labeled for me several years ago. He secretly loves it all. I just know it!
This all means that Christmas decorating is just around the corner!

PreK and 3rd Grade!

Katie Belle started school last week!

She made her own sign!
You learn to do those sorts of things when you have an unorganized mom!

We went swimming after school, because it's still 100 degrees in Texas!

2nd day and no tears!

Tuesday was Jesses' first day of PreK!
He just goes 2 days a week. Next year I will have 2 kids in school all day long...FOR FREE!

I am so thankful for their sweet teachers!
It's going to be a good year!

Beach Trip!

Right before school started we went to the beach with my family.
The fun started at Bucees on the way there!
(for non Texas people, it's the most amazing gas station ever!)

Icees for breakfast! Yes, sir!

Last time we went to the beach, Jesse was 1 and HATED the sand with a fiery passion!

This time he LOVED it. He dug up that sand all day long like it was his job!

My mom and the grand kids. She planned this trip last summer when she was recovering from breast cancer. So glad that is behind her!

On this day, Jesse was with the men watching the Blue Angels.
My dad served in the Navy during Vietnam.
Glenn Bryant and Jesse Bryant.

I think he had a great time!

Cousin Crew:

My nephew, Ryan, made breakfast one morning. Waffles with ice cream, chocolate and whipped cream!

It was the best way to end the summer!

A Llama Party!

Katie Belle turned 8 on July 14th!
She loves llamas. I'm sure next year llama party supplies will be overflowing off the shelves in stores. But this year I had to do some hunting.

Hobby lobby had some cute llama pictures on their sale aisles. They purge some cute things to get ready for Christmas! So these pictures were just $4!

My niece, Melissa, made the cutest and best tasting llama cake ever!
We are so lucky to have our own cake maker in the family.

And my sister, Kelly, made Katie's shirt!

My parents:

Marcus's parents:

cousin Jeddy:

 My sister's family:

Marcus's sister's family:

Marucs's brother's family minus Jeddy who is above:

Earlier in the day I surprised Katie with her cousins, Morgan and Ryan. They took her to the water park! They are both on the swim team and Ryan is a life guard! And Ryan rides all the scary stuff Katie likes. I am so grateful for them.

KB couldn't believe no grownups were going!

In the morning we had birthday donuts and presents!

One of her gifts was The Greatest Showman record!

Jesse totally enjoyed that gift too!

We sure love our girl!
(This is how Marcus still pictures her. )
8 is going to be so fun!
